We are excited to announce an important evolution within the ISKRA ecosystem: the transition of Pioneer NFT to Settler NFT, featuring expanded functionality and enhanced utility. This transformation marks a crucial step forward in the development of our ecosystem, ensuring a more seamless experience for our users.
1. Background and Key Changes
Why the Transition?
The Pioneer NFT has played a pivotal role as a core asset within the ISKRA ecosystem, granting mainnet operation rights and contributing to the network’s foundation. As we move towards the next phase—virtual node operation—the Pioneer NFT will be upgraded to Settler NFT to align with this evolution.
Key Enhancements in Settler NFT

Continued Staking Rewards: Holders will receive the same staking rewards in the same amount and schedule as before, now through the Settler NFT.

Automatic Delegation: If your Pioneer NFT is staked at the time of transition, it will be automatically delegated as a Settler NFT, ensuring uninterrupted rewards without requiring any action on your part as a holder of pNFT.

Important: If you have an unstaked Pioneer NFT, we encourage you to stake it before the transition which take place on March 27th to continue earning rewards immediately upon receiving the Settler NFT. Only NFTs staked before the transition will be eligible for immediate rewards.

Delegation & Undelegation of Virtual Node Operation Rights: You will have the ability to delegate your virtual node operation rights to ISKRA. Through such feature, you will earn operational rewards without the need for a physical node.

Transfer Functionality: Unlike Pioneer NFT, the Settler NFT will become transferable. Users can choose to either delegate it for rewards or undelegate it for trading purposes.
The Settler NFT will continue to be a foundational asset within the ISKRA tokenomics ecosystem, just as its predecessor was.
2. Key Transition Details

Suspension of Pioneer NFT & Continuation of Settler NFT Reward

After the transition, Pioneer NFT contracts will no longer be supported.

Any unclaimed rewards in your Pioneer NFT will be automatically transferred to your Settler NFT.

Settler NFT delegation rewards will be distributed in the same amount and schedule as with Pioneer NFT.

How to Track Reward in the Settler NFT Menu

Once transitioned to Settler NFT, you can view your transferred rewards and real-time accrued rewards in the Settler NFT menu.

Previous reward history from your Pioneer NFT will also remain accessible.

What Does Delegation Mean?

By delegating your Settler NFT, you grant its virtual node operation rights to ISKRA, entitling you to receive corresponding rewards.

You can initiate or terminate delegation directly from the Settler NFT menu.

Transfer Conditions

To transfer a Settler NFT, it must first be undelegated.

KYC Verification Required

Just like Pioneer NFT, KYC verification is mandatory to receive Settler NFT rewards.

In alignment with the governance vote, the PNFT sale has been discontinued, and the total supply has been fixed at 10,000. With the 1:1 conversion to SNFT, all prior restrictions on PNFTs have been lifted.
Furthermore, until the official launch of the ISKRA Chain, NFT rights will be delegated to ISKRA by default.
