How can I use converter?
- Go to ISK Converter
- Just press the Convert button to convert all your Classic ISK to ISK.
- Your entire ISK Classic tokens will be converted to ISK at once at the exchange rate of 1:1. The converter only supports one-way exchange of ISK Classic to ISK. The other way is NOT available.
What chain does Converter support and what are the exchangeable tokens in Converter?
ISK Converter supports Klaytn and Base chain.
- Klaytn Converter : Klaytn ISK Classic -> ISK
- Base Chain Converter : Base Chain ISK Classic -> ISK
What is ISK Converter?
ISK Converter is a service for converting ISK Classic tokens into ISK tokens. To use ISK within an Iskra product, you must convert ISK Classic to ISK using the converter.
As part of hub-chain migration, Iskra decided to leverage the Layer Zero technology for cross-chain messaging including bridging. To support ISK bridging over Layer Zero, the ISK token needs to support additional functionality beyond the standard ERC20 so new ISK token contract has to be deployed to both Base and Klaytn.
This new ISK token deployed is called ISK, and the old Wormhole-based ISK is now called ISK Classic.
From now, all services on the Iskra Platform will use the newly deployed ISK token. If you have ISK Classic, please use the ISK Converter service to convert to the new ISK.
Is it possible to change ISK back to ISK Classic?
The converter only supports one-way exchange of ISK Classic to ISK. The other way is NOT available.
All services on the Iskra Portal use only new ISK, therefore, ISK Classic will not be used any longer.
