Hi explorers! We’re excited to share that the Norma in Metaland INO, aka initial NFT offering, will be launched on the Iskra Market starting May 22, 2023.
It will be the second INO conducted on the platform and hopefully marks the beginning of more INOs down the pipeline.
What Is an INO?
Before we get to the nitty-gritty part, let’s talk first about the basics – so what is an INO?
In the colorful world of NFTs or non-fungible tokens, an INO is simply a way for projects to raise funds by selling a collection of their own NFTs during the early stage for a limited time and before these NFTs go on public sale.
Not only will the Iskra community and supporters of the project get the dibs on the project’s NFTs, they can also acquire them at a lesser price compared to buying them at regular price.
What is Norma in Metaland?
Norma in Metaland is Iskra’s upcoming Web3 casual cooking game developed by Grampus. It follows the adventure of Norma, a curious chef in the virtual world of Cooking Adventure, who wants to explore what’s beyond the game and connect with a diverse array of people.
By venturing outside, Norma meets new friends, explores popular restaurants on social media, and learns from renowned chefs from all over the place. Armed with these experiences, she sets out to put her culinary skills to work in Metaland!
What Is the Norma in Metaland INO?
The Norma in Metaland INO is a promotional event where Norma NFTs are sold at a discounted rate before they go on public sale and leads up to the game’s upcoming public release.
Norma’s Gold and Silver Ovens will be available during the INO and the event is divided into 3 schedules:
- May 22, 2023
- Gold Oven First Tier WL
- May 23, 2023
- Gold Oven Second Tier WL
- Silver Oven FREE Mint WL
- May 26, 2023
- Public Sale – open to all
How Do You Get on the WL?
- If you’re a CBT participant – 50 random and very lucky participants who submitted their post-CBT feedback gets a First Tier Gold Oven WL. You can check if you’re on the winner’s list here.
- If you’re a Discord-verified P-NFT holder – You’re automatically in the Gold Oven Second Tier WL so sit back and relax – you don’t have to do anything before the INO (unless you’re not Discord-verified yet, in which case, you should get verified). P-NFT holders will also get one (1) FREE Silver Oven and one (1) FREE raffle entry (depending on the number of P-NFT you hold) to the Golden Oven Raffle (50 to be given away!). Winner announcement date TBC.
- If you’re on Iskra Discord – You can be on the Silver Oven FREE Mint WL – all you need to do is sign up here for a chance to win a slot (100 available on a first come, first served basis). Otherwise, you can join during the public sale.
What are Gold and Silver Ovens?
Gold and Silver Ovens are essentially mystery boxes that each contain a Chef Norma NFT. They are named “oven” because it was inspired by the bakery where Norma baked her first bread.
Similar to waiting for the dough to turn golden brown while inside the oven, INO NFT holders will have to wait until the NFTs are revealed to see what kind of NFT they got inside.
The NFT reveal will happen 15 days after the first sale and Norma NFTs with five (5) different tiers will be randomly distributed based on the type of oven.
- Gold Oven: 3 to 5-star Norma NFTs
- Silver Oven: 1 to 2-star Norma NFTs
Benefits of Norma NFT
Norma NFT is a membership PFP NFT project. It is based on partnerships with global F&B partners and a community-based network that extends to Norma and Friends, creating a bridge between the online and offline metaverse.
As the first membership PFP NFT to be issued on the GRAM-PROTOCOL ecosystem, the Norma NFT will be the genesis for future ecosystem expansion, with the following confirmed utilities:
- Additional in-game rewards for Norma in Metaland (tiered)
- Additional in-game rewards based on the number of Friends NFTs you own in the Norma in Metaland game (tiered)

Prep for the INO
How to Create an Iskra Wallet
To prepare for the Norma in Metaland INO, you need to have an Iskra Wallet with sufficient ISK. Here’s how you can do that:
- Go to the Iskra portal at https://iskra.world/ and sign in.
- Click the CREATE WALLET menu at the top of the Iskra portal.
- Set the password for your Iskra Wallet. The password for the Iskra wallet is different from your Iskra portal password.
The Iskra wallet password is used for signing various transactions that take place in the wallet and serves as an important security key to find your wallet in case it is lost. It is highly recommended to set a wallet password different from that of the Iskra portal.
Your Recovery Phrase, as the master key for your Iskra wallet, is a 12-word set. With Recovery Phrase, you can easily backup and recover your wallet without knowing your Iskra wallet password. Make sure you keep your Recovery Phrase safe.

How to Add ISK to Your Iskra Wallet
