Dear ISKRA Community,
We owe you an honest and transparent account of a serious matter, and we want to begin with a sincere apology. We understand the trust you have placed in us, and we are deeply sorry that we have fallen short of that trust.
We have confirmed that unauthorized access occurred to several foundation-operated wallets. Below is a full account of what happened, what we have done, and what we are doing going forward.
1. Incident Overview
On March 17, 2026, unauthorized transactions were detected across multiple foundation-operated wallets. As a result, 183,111,108 ISK and other foundation-held assets were transferred out of our control.
- Attacker wallet address (Base chain):
0xbc1ac1c4b0fdd74c915d607ee129130ab1ebd619
Based on our findings to date, this incident is strictly limited to foundation-operated wallets. Your personal wallet assets, smart contracts, and protocol-level assets have not been affected in any way.
2. Response Actions
The following measures were taken immediately upon detection.
- Law enforcement report: We have filed an official report with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and their Cybercrime Division, and are cooperating closely with them.
- Exchange coordination: To prevent the stolen assets from entering the market, we are coordinating with major global exchanges through law enforcement channels.
- On-chain monitoring: Our security team is operating a 24/7 monitoring system and is ready to act immediately if any movement is detected.
- Asset recovery: We are pursuing all available means to recover the stolen assets, including continued law enforcement cooperation and on-chain tracking.
3. Regarding the Timing of This Announcement
We had prepared an immediate announcement following the incident; however, this announcement was delayed for the following reasons:
- Confidential coordination with law enforcement and exchanges had to take priority to prevent the attacker from concealing or laundering the funds after becoming aware of our actions.
- The Singapore authorities requested that we maintain confidentiality during the early stages of their investigation.
We sincerely regret that we were unable to share this with you sooner. You deserved to know, and the delay was not a decision we made lightly.
4. Next Steps
The ISKRA Team places the highest priority on protecting the ecosystem and our holders’ interests. We are exploring every possible avenue to resolve this situation safely. We will provide further updates to the community as soon as there are meaningful developments or solutions to share.
We do not take this incident lightly, nor do we take your trust for granted. We are fully committed to doing everything in our power to make this right, and to significantly strengthening our security to prevent this from happening again.
Thank you for your patience and your continued belief in ISKRA.
With sincere apologies,
ISKRA Team
